Templates
The official AES 2027 paper format is available in Word and in LaTeX. Both produce the same A4 two-column layout; the manuscript is uploaded as PDF, whichever you use.

Do not change margins, column widths, fonts or the running head. The proceedings are assembled from the PDFs as submitted, so a manuscript that departs from the format stands out in the printed volume.
Using the Word template
- Open the file and use Save As before editing, so the original stays available.
- Replace the example text paragraph by paragraph; the styles (Title, Authors, Affiliation, Abstract, Heading 1, Body, Caption, References) carry the format.
- Enter the principal institution of each author; department and postal address are not printed.
- Keep figures inside the column or across both columns at the top or bottom of a page.
- Number equations on the right and cite references in square brackets, in order of first citation.
Using the LaTeX template
- Unzip the archive; the read-me lists the files and the conference dates.
- Compile AES2027-Template.tex with pdflatex, twice for cross-references, or upload the archive to Overleaf.
- Keep the class options (including a4paper) and the header definitions unchanged; they produce the running head and the A4 two-column layout.
- Replace the sample figure with your own EPS, PDF or PNG file.
Exporting the PDF
- Word: File, Save As, PDF, with the default settings; fonts are embedded.
- LaTeX: pdflatex produces the PDF directly.
- Check the page count, the running head and that every figure and equation appears as intended.
- The submission form accepts one PDF; the Word or LaTeX source is not uploaded.
