AES 2027 takes place at the War Museum of Athens, Rizari 2–4, in the Kolonaki district, about two hundred metres from Evangelismos metro station on line 3, the line that runs directly from the airport.

The museum stands on the museum row of Vasilissis Sofias Avenue, on the lower slopes of Lycabettus, with the Byzantine and Christian Museum next door and the National Garden a short walk west. Its own visiting hours are 09:00 to 17:00 from 1 November to 31 March; the conference programme has its own timetable, published on 19 February 2027.

From the airport
Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” (ATH) lies east of the city. Metro line 3 runs from the airport to Evangelismos, the station at the venue, with no change of line.

The standard 90-minute ticket at €1.20 does not cover the airport section of line 3, the airport express buses or the X80. Contactless bank cards are accepted for full-fare products, including the airport tickets. Taxis wait at Exit 3 of Arrivals, around the clock.
The airport is the terminus of line 3, and Evangelismos is on the same line, so the journey needs no change. Neither the airport nor the transport operator publishes a journey time for the metro, so none is stated here; allow for the trip generously and check the timetable on the day.

Around the city
Evangelismos is one stop from Syntagma, where line 3 meets line 2 and the tram, and where the X95 airport bus terminates. Most of the places participants visit (Kolonaki, Syntagma, Plaka, the Acropolis Museum) are reachable on foot or within a few stops. Parking in Kolonaki is limited and the streets around the venue are narrow; public transport is the practical choice.
A single 90-minute ticket costs €1.20, a 24-hour ticket €4.10 and a five-day ticket €8.20; the last two do not cover airport journeys.

Room allocation follows the size of the programme and is published on 19 February 2027. Nothing about the interior of the museum is published here before the organisers have confirmed it.
