AES 2027 has no official housing partner. Companies claiming to hold rooms for AES participants, or asking for payment to secure accommodation, are not acting for the conference. Rely only on this website and on email from the organisers, and never share payment details with an unsolicited contact.

- Kolonaki
- the venue’s own district, “an upmarket neighbourhood on the slopes of Lycabettus Hill”, much of it within ten minutes of the entrance
- Syntagma
- about 1.4 km, 17 minutes on foot, or one metro stop on line 3; the interchange with line 2, the tram and the airport express bus
- Plaka
- about 2.1 km, 26 minutes on foot; “the most famous Athenian neighbourhood”, below the Acropolis
- Koukaki
- about 2.7 km, 34 minutes on foot; line 2 with a change at Syntagma; described by the city as combining intimacy with authenticity

Choosing where to stay
- Line 3 is the useful line. It runs from the airport to Evangelismos, the station at the venue, without a change; staying on or near it saves the journey at both ends.
- Sessions start in the morning. A walk of fifteen or twenty minutes, or one or two metro stops, is a comfortable margin; the streets around the venue are steep only towards Lycabettus.
- March is not high season, but the city is busy and the conference is not the only event: book once your participation is settled rather than after the notification of acceptance.
- Book directly or through a platform you already use. No agency has any mandate from AES 2027, and the conference will never ask for payment details by email.
