Publication Ethics
The AES proceedings are a permanent, Scopus-indexed scientific record. Every contribution is expected to meet the standards below.
Originality and plagiarism
Submissions must represent original work by the listed authors. Text, figures and results taken from other sources, including the authors’ own earlier publications, must be properly attributed. Submissions are screened for plagiarism and duplicate submission, and the organisers reserve the right to reject or withdraw a contribution that does not meet this standard.
Duplicate and concurrent submission
A contribution must not be submitted at the same time to another conference or journal in substantially identical form, and must not have been published before in the AES proceedings.
Authorship
Every listed author must have made a genuine contribution to the work and approved the submitted version. The author list, the author order and the institutions are fixed at submission. If a paper is submitted with an incomplete author list, or with authors entered in a different order from the uploaded PDF, submit it again as a new submission and contact the organisers to have the original removed.
Peer review
Submissions are reviewed under the responsibility of the technical programme committee. Reviewers treat submissions confidentially, declare conflicts of interest, and evaluate work solely on its scientific merit. Conflicts of interest are disclosed by authors where relevant.
Corrections and withdrawals
Errors discovered after publication should be reported to the conference office. Where warranted, the proceedings record is corrected or a contribution withdrawn, and the change is documented.
Responsibilities
- Authors submit original work, list every author correctly, disclose conflicts of interest and register and present the paper.
- Reviewers keep submissions confidential, declare conflicts and judge on the four published criteria.
- The organisers screen submissions, document decisions and handle concerns, corrections and withdrawals.
