Call for Papers
AES 2027 invites original contributions on antennas, electromagnetics, optics and photonics, from theory and computation to devices, instruments and complete systems. Contributed papers are two to four pages; the deadline is 20 January 2027.

Scope of the call
The 13th International Conference on Antennas & Electromagnetic Systems takes place at the War Museum of Athens, Greece, from 16 to 19 March 2027. The call for papers is open from 22 September 2026 to 20 January 2027.
Contributions are welcome on every topic of the scientific scope, theoretical, numerical, experimental and applied alike, for oral or poster presentation. Accepted papers that are registered and presented are published in the AES Conference Proceedings, ISSN 2491-2417, indexed in Scopus.
What acceptance means
- Peer review by the technical programme committee on four published criteria.
- One submission stage: the paper reviewed is the paper published, with nothing to upload after acceptance.
- Publication in the AES Conference Proceedings, ISSN 2491-2417, indexed in Scopus, with open access to the full volume.
- A place in the programme in a research track, a symposium or a special session, as an oral or a poster presentation.
How to submit, in three steps
- 01Prepare the manuscript
Write two to four pages with the official AES 2027 template, in Word or LaTeX, and export a PDF. Invited contributions are at least one page.
Templates - 02Gather the submission information
The research track, every author in the order printed on the PDF, each author's principal institution, the presenting author, an abstract of at most 50 words and your presentation preference.

Create an account on the AES 2027 portal, upload the PDF, enter the submission information and confirm. Open until 20 January 2027.

What to submit
Contributed papers
A contributed paper is an extended scientific contribution of two to four pages, not a bare abstract. Authors choose the length that fits the work; two pages and four pages are judged on the same criteria.
Invited contributions
Invited speakers submit a contribution of at least one page, with the same template, through the same portal and by the same deadline. An invitation does not replace submission: every presentation in the programme has a contribution in the proceedings.

Submissions are routed for review by research track. Each track welcomes theory, computation, experiment, fabrication, characterisation and application on the same footing; the indicative topics of each track are on the research topics page.

Review and presentation
Submissions are reviewed by members of the technical programme committee on four criteria: scientific quality, originality, significance and relevance to AES, and clarity. Authors are notified on 3 February 2027.
You may state a preference for an oral or a poster presentation. The preference cannot be guaranteed and may be communicated separately from the acceptance; assignment is not a ranking of scientific quality. Invited presentations are limited to one per presenting author.
From presentation to publication
The paper submitted for review is the proceedings contribution: there is no camera-ready stage and nothing further to upload after acceptance. At least one author must register and present the contribution; one paid registration may cover a maximum of two accepted papers for which the registrant is a co-author. Only accepted papers that are registered and presented are scheduled and included in the proceedings.
