Author Guidelines

Format. A4, two columns, English, PDF only, prepared with the official AES 2027 template. Contributed papers run 2 to 4 pages; an invited contribution may be as short as 1 page. Nothing over 4 pages is accepted.

Abstract. 50 words at most, plain text, identical to the abstract printed in the manuscript.

Authors. Enter every author of the manuscript, in the order printed on the PDF, each with their principal institution. Name the author who will present. The list is fixed at submission and appears as given in the programme and in the proceedings; a correction afterwards requires the organisers.

One deposit per paper. If something is wrong, write to contact@aesconference.org quoting the submission number rather than depositing the paper a second time.

One stage. The file reviewed is the file published. There is no camera-ready version and no later upload.

Invited contributions. One invited presentation per presenting author.

Registration. At least one author registers and presents. One paid registration covers at most two contributions for which the participant is a co-author. Notification is sent on 3 February 2027; the registration covering a paper is paid by 19 February 2027.

Submission Preparation Checklist

  • The manuscript is written in English, prepared with the official AES 2027 template (A4, two columns) and uploaded as a single PDF with the fonts embedded.
  • A contributed paper is 2 to 4 pages. An invited contribution is at least 1 page. No manuscript exceeds 4 pages.
  • The abstract entered in the form is the abstract printed in the manuscript, as plain text, 50 words at most, without symbols or mathematics.
  • Every author of the manuscript is entered, in the order printed on the PDF, with the correct spelling and the principal institution only. The author list is fixed at submission.
  • The author who will present the paper is identified.
  • An oral or poster preference is expressed, in the knowledge that the Technical Programme Committee makes the final assignment.
  • The track, symposium or special session chosen is the one the work belongs to.
  • The work is original, is not under review elsewhere, and every author has approved this submission.
  • The paper submitted for review is the paper published if it is accepted: there is no camera-ready stage and nothing further is uploaded.
  • At least one author registers and presents the paper. Only registered and presented papers are scheduled and included in the proceedings.

Copyright Notice

Authors keep the copyright of their manuscript. By submitting, they grant AES 2027 the right to publish the accepted paper in the conference proceedings (ISSN 2491-2417), in print and electronically, and to make it available through the conference's own archive and the indexing services the proceedings are submitted to.

Authors confirm that the work is theirs, that it does not infringe anyone else's rights, and that every author has agreed to the submission and to this publication.

Privacy Statement

The names, institutions, e-mail addresses and manuscripts entered on this site are used for AES 2027 only: to review the submissions, to build the programme and the proceedings, and to correspond with the authors and the reviewers. They are not sold, not shared with third parties for their own purposes, and not used for advertising.

Author names, affiliations, titles and abstracts of accepted papers are published in the programme and in the proceedings. Reviews are confidential and are not published.

To obtain, correct or erase your data, write to contact@aesconference.org. Erasure of a published paper's metadata is not possible once the proceedings are issued.
